Combine multiple PDFs into one, in the order you choose.
Click to choose PDFs or drag and drop (select multiple, or add more later)
Choose PDFs to add them to the merge list.
Upload several PDFs, reorder them with up/down arrows, and merge them into a single PDF. Pages are copied directly, not rasterized, so text stays selectable and quality is unchanged.
How to merge PDF files
- Add your PDFs. Choose two or more files from your device.
- Put them in order. Use the up and down arrows — the file at the top becomes the first pages of the merged PDF.
- Merge and download. The combined file is built in your browser and saved straight to your device.
Why the quality doesn't change
Some merging tools turn each page into a picture and then stitch the pictures together. That makes text blurry, impossible to search or copy, and often makes the file much bigger. This merger copies each page as it is, so text stays sharp and selectable, links and vector graphics stay crisp, and the merged file is roughly the size of the originals added together.
Common reasons to merge PDFs
- Job applications: combine a cover letter, résumé and references into the single file most application forms ask for.
- Taxes and paperwork: put W-2s, 1099s and receipts into one document for your accountant.
- School: join assignment pages or scanned worksheets before uploading them to a class portal.
- Rental and loan applications: send pay stubs, bank statements and ID as one tidy file instead of a dozen attachments.
Tips
- Need only some pages from a file? Pull them out first with the PDF Splitter, then merge.
- Merged file too big to email? Most email services cap attachments at about 20–25 MB. Try the PDF Compressor on scanned or image-heavy files.
- Have photos instead of PDFs? Turn them into a PDF with Image to PDF first.
Frequently asked questions
Is my PDF uploaded anywhere?
No — files are combined entirely inside your browser. They're never sent to a server.
Can I control the order pages get merged in?
Yes — use the up/down arrows next to each file to reorder them before merging. Pages are combined in the order the files are listed.
Does merging keep text selectable and quality unchanged?
Yes — pages are copied directly at the PDF-structure level, not rasterized into images, so text stays selectable and quality is untouched.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Not directly. If a file is locked with a password, the merger can't read it and will skip it with a message. Open it in a PDF reader with the password, save an unlocked copy, and merge that instead.
Is there a limit on how many files I can merge?
There's no fixed limit. Because everything runs on your own device, very large or very many files depend on your device's memory — a phone may struggle with hundreds of pages that a laptop handles easily.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Yes. It works in any modern mobile browser. Tap to add files from your Files app or Google Drive, then download the merged PDF.
